Apple Wednesday

An apple a day keeps the doctor away!

Use the 'x' handshape and twist it back and forth near the side of your mouth. Signing this way is ASL.

I see it often in schools used with the letter 'a' handshape. The 'a' shape is more commonly used with signed exact english. In the school environment it assists with learning with letter sounds and spelling.

Take your pick and enjoy a tasty apple...yum!

Baby Tip this Tuesday

Babies signs reduces frustration! Give it a try ... it's a means for babies to communicate until they are verbal. The worst thing that could happen is that you feel cool, calm and collected.

Just remember - repetition is key!
